Transferring a domain to Yurnichost

Last updated 7 Nov 2026 · In Domains

Moving a domain in from another registrar:

  1. At your current registrar, unlock the domain and copy its EPP / authorisation code.
  2. Make sure the domain is not within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer, and that the registrant email is reachable.
  3. Go to Domains, search your name, and click Transfer.
  4. Enter the EPP / Auth Code (and for .au, your Business / Entity Name, ABN or ACN and Entity Type), then check out.
  5. Approve the transfer email your old registrar sends.

A transfer usually completes in 5–7 days and adds a year to the registration. Your website and email keep working throughout, as long as the nameservers don't change. You can watch the status on the service page — it shows Transfer Pending until it's done.
